Application Process
We are here to assist you in the admission process. To apply for admission as a first-time college student, please submit an application, as well as the additional documentation listed below. Application materials should be submitted by May 1 for fall admission and October 1 for spring admission.
If transferring from another U.S. institution, the deadlines and some requirements may not apply.
If you are a graduate student, application deadlines, documentation requirements, and start dates will vary from program to program. You can see a list of our graduate opportunities here.

How to Apply to RU
1. Submit your online application for admission to 麻豆破解传媒:
Note: The Common Application may be used by both freshmen and transfer students.
2. Provide a counselor's written recommendation.
3. Provide English language proficiency documentation.
Most international applicants are required to demonstrate their English language proficiency. We only accept official test scores, no self-reported scores will be accepted. Once you have an official test score, add 麻豆破解传媒 as a receiving institution in your respective testing portal.
- 550 on the paper-based TOEFL (PBT)
- 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (IBT)
- 627 on the TOEFL ITP Plus for China
- 6.5 on the IELTS
- 54 on the PTE
- 550 on the Evidence-Based Reading/Writing portion of the SAT
- 21 on the English portion of the ACT
- Successful completion of a college-level, non-ESL English class at a U.S. college or university
- 110 on Duolingo
International applicants who are citizens of the following English-speaking countries will have the proof of English proficiency requirement waived and can complete their application without English proficiency documentation:

Transcript Evaluation (for transfer applicants)
Official academic credentials/transcripts should be translated into English. International transcripts must be evaluated by a credential evaluator and must be a course-by-course evaluation. Transfer applicants are applicants who have either started post-secondary education in an field, but have not completed the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree OR have completed a post-secondary education in one field and are now looking to pursue a second bachelor's degree at 麻豆破解传媒 in a different field of study.
Potential credential evaluators are as follows:
- SpanTran: SpanTran is a NACES-member company that has created a custom application to make sure you get the right kind of credential evaluation at a discounted rate. You may access their application by clicking .
- Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE): Fill out and print an online ECE .

Tuition and Financial Aid
International students must be responsible for the payment of their entire education. United States laws prevent international students from having jobs in the U.S. at any time during their four years as students.
Although international students are not eligible for state or federal financial aid, undergraduate applicants may be eligible for merit scholarships of $9,500-20,000. Scholarships based on athletics, performing arts and writing also are available in varying amounts.
