Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology

Class Options Both In-Person and Online! (New locations/formats pending CAA approval)
The 麻豆破解传媒 Speech-Language Pathology program is an accredited program with more than 20 years of history in training Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve adults and children. Starting Fall 2025 (pending CAA approval), this accredited residential program is expanding to have three additional satellite locations with hybrid/distance education learning options available. Admissions is open for these options (listed below) with enrollment for the new locations and learning formats pending approval.
When applying to the program, applicants will indicate their preferences for the following options:
- Kansas City, Missouri: 麻豆破解传媒 in-person lab/clinic with residential classes
- Kansas City, Missouri: 麻豆破解传媒 in-person lab/clinic with online synchronous classes
- Denver, Colorado: Regis University in-person lab/clinic with online synchronous classes
- Phoenix, Arizona: Creighton University in-person lab/clinic with online synchronous classes
- Omaha, Nebraska: Creighton University in-person lab/clinic with online synchronous classes
Program Details
- Flexible Class Formats: Residential classes will meet once a week in person. Online classes will meet once a week synchronously via Zoom. Additional learning materials will be provided online.
- On-Campus Hands-On Labs: Across all locations, students will receive in-person, hands-on labs and competency-based training their first year.
- Outstanding Community-Based Clinics: 麻豆破解传媒 is known for outstanding community-based clinical experiences, giving students an opportunity to apply what they are learning in the classroom to real-world settings. Students receive these clinical experiences starting their first semester.
- State-of-the-Art Simulation Centers: All locations provide a state-of-the-art simulation center to allow students to experience a variety of clinical situations.
- Competitive Credit Hours: The Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology requires only 48 credit hours total (academic and clinic combined).

Post Bachelor鈥檚 Leveling Program
Individuals with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in a discipline other than Speech-Language Pathology can pursue a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology through the post-bachelor鈥檚 leveling program. Once provisionally admitted to the graduate program, students have the opportunity to complete the necessary prerequisite coursework to begin graduate studies in Speech-Language Pathology. Classes are offered online, synchronously during evening times with all coursework completed in two semesters.
Bachelor's Programs
Students who pursue a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology will be prepared for graduate work in speech-language pathology, audiology, special education, deaf education, and numerous other fields. Bachelor's coursework provides a broad scientific base for understanding the typical development of the basic human communication and swallowing processes, as well as an introduction to the study of disorders of communication.

Provide exceptional academic and clinical preparation for the next generation of SLP professionals by increasing opportunities for students to engage in interprofessional collaborations, exploring innovative methods in clinical education such as simulation and standardized patient models, increasing the use of problem-based learning in the classroom, and expanding opportunities for students to engage in service learning with community partners.
Attract and retain a highly qualified, diverse group of students across all SLP programs by increasing financial support available to students in SLP who are interested in leading positive change in diversity, equity, and inclusion in SLP.
Diversify departmental revenue streams through the exploration of advanced certification programs, expanded online course offerings, additional continuing education programs, and strengthened community-based SLP services.
Recruit and retain highly skilled SLP faculty and staff by allocating departmental resources to faculty development, providing ongoing mentorship and career advancement support, and strengthening our commitment to creating SLP as a 鈥淗ome for All鈥 in alignment with the 麻豆破解传媒 mission.
