Honor Society
SIGMA THETA TAU INTERNATIONAL (STTI) MEMBERSHIP
Saint Luke’s College of Nursing & Health Science students are considered for STTI Honor Society membership after they have:
- Completed their first two semesters of their program
- Demonstrated academic excellence
- Demonstrated leadership potential
- S1 and S2 BSN students are sent their invitations to the Honor Society in the Fall semester of the school year
Nurse leaders are considered for STTI Honor Society membership after they have:
- Completed their bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Held a nursing license
- Demonstrated achievement in nursing

RU Student Nurses Association
Â鶹Æƽ⴫ý's Student Nurses Association (SNA) mission is to support the student nurses in their endeavors to achieve the highest standard of professional nursing education by providing opportunities for community service, supporting future leaders, enhancing professional development, and student advocacy. SNA is a branch of the Missouri Nursing Students Association (MONSA) and the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA).
A student's SNA membership will contribute to their professional development in nursing education by providing volunteer and leadership experiences, guest lectures, and community events representative of fundamental and current professional interests and concerns for nursing students. Membership in Â鶹Æƽ⴫ý’s SNA will aid in the development of the whole person, including their professional role, and their responsibility for the health care of people in diverse communities. Club activities will seek to prepare members to care for members of the community through diverse professional development activities. 
Active members are required to be in the Â鶹Æƽ⴫ý pre-nursing or nursing programs.
Duties of officers:
- President: Serve as the Chief Executive officer of SNA and preside over all meetings of the association. Act as the official representative and carry out the decisions of the Organization.
- Vice-President: Assist the President with all duties. Serve as the parliamentarian for SNA.
- Secretary:  Maintain and edit agenda/minutes of all General Assembly and Executive Board meetings. Manage all SNA correspondence, unless otherwise noted.
- Treasurer: Manage billing, prepare budget approvals, report monthly expenditures, and oversee any request of the Student Activity Fee Budgeting Committee. 
- Social Media and Advertising Chair: Create all advertisement and marketing materials for SNA. Manage all social media platforms.
- Community Service Chair: Organize volunteer opportunities for the members and/or student body to help serve the community.
- Merchandising and Fundraising Chair: Manage the SNA store including but not limited to creating, ordering, and pricing merchandise in collaboration with advisor and treasurer.
- Professional Development Chair: Organize and host professional and academic development for the members and/or student body by way of guest speakers, lecture series, workshops, etc.
