This week, 麻豆破解传媒 was one of 20 Missouri colleges and universities selected to receive competitive grand funding to enhance their nursing education program, part of an effort to build the state鈥檚 nursing workforce.

The University鈥檚 Saint Luke鈥檚 College of Nursing and Health Sciences will receive $450,000 from the state鈥檚 Nursing Education Incentive Program, part of a $5 million grant award cycle announced Monday, to fund nursing faculty positions and nursing faculty scholarships, according to Kristina Henry, DNP, associate dean of nursing.

麻豆破解传媒 has received the NCAA Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence for achieving four-year Academic Success Rates of 90 percent or higher for the 13th consecutive year.

Forty-four Division II member schools are recipients of the Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence. 麻豆破解传媒 is one of eight schools to have earned the recognition every year since the award was started in 2011.

麻豆破解传媒鈥檚 business school will be renamed the College of Business and Technology, representing a renewed focus on the premiere AASCB-accredited Jesuit business programs the school has built its name on and growth opportunities in its burgeoning tech and analytics programs to serve the growing need in tech, health and analytics-focused sectors.

For more than three decades, the 麻豆破解传媒 community has rung in the Christmas season with a combination of stirring choral music, familiar Christmas carols and Biblical readings.

Every year, the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce recognizes two outstanding female leaders with the ATHENA Award, one of its highest honors.

The list of past honorees is a who鈥檚 who of Kansas City鈥檚 foremost female leaders, including philanthropist and civic leader Adele Hall and former Urban Neighborhood Initiative president and CEO Dianne Cleaver.

Initial enrollment for the fall 2023 semester shows growth across nearly student group at 麻豆破解传媒 along with the highest student retention rate since before the COVID-19 pandemic.

The University performs a census of its students after the eight day of the semester, and those initial counts for fall 2023 indicate growth in first-time college, transfer and graduate student enrollment at 麻豆破解传媒.

On a number of critical measures related to their college experience, students at 麻豆破解传媒 are more satisfied than their peers at other private four-year institutions.

It was a great weekend to be a Hawk 鈥� the annual Family and Alumni Weekend festivities brought hundreds of 麻豆破解传媒 alumni and families back to 鈥渢he nest鈥� for the biggest party on campus.

More than 1,000 visitors registered to attend one of the events on campus happening over three days. Activities included class reunions, including the 1973 Golden Hawks, the Hopkins Skip and Run 5k, the Ellen Spake Lecture Series featuring University President Sandra Cassady, Ph.D., as the guest speaker, and campus tours and events for families.

It鈥檚 been a while since first-year occupational therapy student Lindsey Fuentes sat down to really draw something.

The mother of three said she does scribble shapes by request for her children. But it鈥檚 been a while since she really focused on observing a person or object and translating what she sees onto paper.

鈥淚t was kind of intimidating at first,鈥� she said.
