Program Overview
Graduates of the cybersecurity program will have an understanding of the breadth of security-related issues in technology deployment and the ethical underpinnings of appropriate data management and protection. This cybersecurity program is an interdisciplinary program combining elements of computer science, analytics, criminal justice, intelligence gathering and risk planning. In this unique partnership with Saint Louis University, 麻豆破解传媒 students will get the advantage of learning from two prestigious Jesuit institutions. Students pursuing this major will complete most coursework on campus at 麻豆破解传媒, as well as specific online classes (CYBS) taken through faculty at Saint Louis University to earn the 麻豆破解传媒 Bachelor of Science degree with a major in cybersecurity.

Popular Courses
This is an introductory survey course providing an overview of the contemporary criminal justice system. The various fields of study, including corrections, crime, law, procedures, and law enforcement are introduced in this course.
An investigation of the tools utilized to identify threats and risks and then effectively assess, mitigate, and manage those risks. The course integrates components of information technology, analytics, and psychology with threat and risk analysis and spans the issues inherent in both corporate and governmental contexts.
Fundamental concepts of relational database systems with an emphasis on Structured Query Language (SQL). Topics include the relational model, entity-relationship design, normalization, and data manipulation. Programming tasks include: SQL terminology and syntax, table and record creation, simple to complex queries, inner and outer joins, procedures, functions and stored triggers.
Cyber Threats and Defense reviews security principles, controls, and monitoring technologies from both a network defense and offensive perspective. The course will develop a student's competencies related to detecting and analyzing network vulnerabilities and threats. At the completion of the course, students will be able to design and implement a systematic plan for defending domestic and organizational networks from internal and external threats.
