Popular Courses
A calculus-based introduction to physics for students majoring in science or engineering. With an emphasis on the scientific method and problem solving through physical and conceptual reasoning, the course content will focus on a study of Newtonian mechanics, thermodynamics, sound and waves with applications for scientists and engineers.
Design of combinational logic circuits, logic minimization techniques, design of sequential logic circuits, state machine design techniques, and digital system design.
Application of operational amplifiers, semiconductors device physics, elementary analysis and design of analog electronic circuits that utilize diodes, BJT's, and MOSFET's in single and multistage amplifiers with passive loads and power amplifiers; DC biasing, small signal analysis and calculation of frequency responses. The use of CAD (Spice) in the analysis and design of electronic circuits.
This is the first capstone design course in electrical and computer engineering providing and accounting for laboratory, library, research and other work needed for the development of the project and stresses oral presentations.

- Electrical engineering students participate in a multitude of highly engaging, educational, and enjoyable projects to enhance their learning and understanding of the electrical engineering field.
- Upper-level engineering classes are taken at the neighboring University of Missouri-Kansas City to take advantage of their engineering laboratories and additional expertise. The courses are automatically transferred to the Â鶹Æƽ⴫ý registrar at the end of each semester.
- The engineering curricula require an engineering internship and 60 hours of community service.
