The French minor at 麻豆破解传媒 provides a robust foundational knowledge in language, literature, culture, professional French and film, culminating in a senior capstone project. A French minor can be combined strategically with another major.
Program Overview
Requirements for the minor consist of 12 upper-division hours of coursework in French after completing FR 2100 and FR 2150. A grade of C or better is required in each upper-division course of the minor.

Popular Courses
An introduction to concepts of French film, the development of film in France and film in the life of the French, with close study of selected films and creative writing in French.
A course designed for students who wish to practice oral communication skills. Discussions include contemporary topics, concerns researched by students and reader/viewer responses to texts and movies.
Study in French of the major works of Moli猫re. Background information, reception of the plays and literary criticism will be taken into consideration. Creative exercises and scenes from the play will be performed both informally and formally.
Opportunities for students to apply their education by working in career fields related to French.
