The Bloch Scholars Program covers tuition and fees to help promising students complete their bachelor’s degree at Â鶹Æƽ⴫ý. The program is sponsored by the Marion and Henry Bloch Family Foundation and the H&R Block Foundation. When you become a Bloch Scholar at Â鶹Æƽ⴫ý, you will become part of a community focused on helping you succeed.
Eligibility
- A resident of the greater Kansas City area: Jackson, Clay and Platte counties in Missouri, and Wyandotte and Johnson counties in Kansas. Undocumented students or students with DACA status who are residents of these counties are also eligible to apply.
- Demonstrated financial need through the FAFSA (if FAFSA eligible)
- Academically promising but not necessarily considered for traditional scholarships due to past academic performance or life circumstances
- Preference will be given to current Bloch Scholars and other students transferring from Donnelly College or Metropolitan Community College

How to Apply for the Bloch Scholars Program
1. First, apply for admission to Â鶹Æƽ⴫ý.
2. If FAFSA eligible, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2025-26 and include Â鶹Æƽ⴫ý’s Federal School Code 002499.
3. Finally, complete an application for Bloch Scholars Program.
